Happy Wedding Wednesday!

It's only appropriate to post something on our blog for what our industry likes to call,  "Wedding Wednesday" :)  We are halfway through the week and wanted to celebrate by showing you another fabulous AKD wedding!  This elegant and timeless wedding took place at the St. Regis Hotel in San Francisco.  While designing this wedding we wanted to include natural elements such as branches, succulents, and water while not forgetting to add touches of elegance by incorporating glassware, white orchids, and a lot of candle light.  The design came out as beautiful as the couple we were working with.

In lieu of Valentines Day, we wanted to share an event of ours that was truly a memorable one for us.  The love that this particular bride and groom had for each other was undeniable! They laughed and always had a smile on their face throughout the entire wedding which made for a lovely, unforgettable evening.  The colors they had chosen were Navy, Coral and Blush, with pops of fuchsia and blue. The style they wanted to reflect was Americana Romance -- a style that was exquisitely achieved! The beautiful Kunde Winery played along wonderfully with their style and the rolling wineries were the perfect backdrop for bridal portraits.

AKD's 1st Valentines Day Pop-up Shop!

Hi there!

Since this week kicks off our “Valentines Day Pop- Up Shop” over at our new office space (218 Mississippi, San Francisco), we are excited to show you a little sneak peek!  Lauri Levenfeld of Style Army  has been in the office all morning shooting images of our popup shop! Take a look- SO EXCITING!!

For those of you who don’t know, a pop up shop is a trend that involves “popping-up” at a venue.  It can be a retail business one day and a fabulous cocktail party the next- right up our alley!  Since wedding season tends to have its high and low seasons, creating a seasonal pop up shop in San Francisco is perfect for us and keeps our creative juices flowing! 

With Alicia being a native of beautiful SF we love having the ability to showcase local businesses in these pop-ups as well.  We want to spread the love to our neighborhood/ community and showcase the things that inspire us.

We are so excited about this new venture and hope that we can open up more than just holiday pop up shops.  Until then, we would love to have you (yes, you) come by and visit our new office space (in Potrero Hill) and maybe walk away with some lovely flower arrangements created by our very own florist- Rhonda Stoffel.

A little late to the party... but we have officially arrived.

Hello Everyone!

Welcome.  We (Alicia K Designs) are new to the blogging community.  While many of the team members here at AKD have been blog stalkers for quite some time, we are excited to introduce our very own, official, Alicia K Designs Blog!! (Applause)  Thank you, Thank you.

For those of you who are not familiar with us and our services- we are a full service event planning and design company aka we plan parties… gorgeous, alluring, and stimulating parties!  We love what we do and it shows in our work. 

We are re-launching Alicia K Designs with the help of the outstanding Style Army so please stay tuned for more posts to come!
